We attempt to keep you informed via this website, newsletters and even the occasional seminar. Of course, the best way to keep informed is to have a meeting with Steve Rousso, on matters of interest to you personally. Steve advises clients about tax, retirement, estate and financial planning. (We make the opportunity for an after-tax-season meeting with Steve easy and affordable.)

A word about our fees. We feel you are entitled to know, in advance, what our services cost. Therefore, we will be happy to quote you a price for the work to be done. Furthermore, we guarantee your satisfaction. If you feel you did not receive value for the services we rendered, you do not have to pay us.
STEVE ROUSSO established the firm in 1991, having been in a partnership for the previous five years. Steve earned his CPA certificate in 1986, after a four year period of planning, directing and performing accounting and tax engagements.
At the completion of a three year stint in the U. S. Navy, during which Steve saw duty in Vietnam, he went to work for the National Association of Securities Dealers as an auditor of securities broker dealers. In that position, Steve was instrumental in helping close brokers that were not dealing fairly with the public.
From there he transitioned to auditing insurance offices and the very substantial real estate holdings of the Prudential Insurance Company. Steve finished his internal auditing career as a regional audit manager for Wells Fargo Bank. It was while there (in 1980) that he took and passed the CPA exam in anticipation of entering the public accounting profession.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA and took extensive additional coursework in accounting and taxation. In addition, Steve has a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA Extension.
ALEX VELORIA is a Senior Accountant. He has extensive experience working in mid size accounting firms where he performed audits of real estate entities, and became knowledgeable in financial accounting and tax preparation for both individual and business entities. Alex has a degree in business administration (accounting) and a bachelor of law degree. He is a native of the Philippines and is fluent in Tagalog
DANA ROUSSO is a team member who performs freelance QuickBooks training and assistance. She also helps out during the very busy tax season. Dana is the mother of a very cute dog named Lucy.
CYNDI GULLEN is a Senior Accountant responsible for reporting and tax preparation of business entities. She is a graduate of University of Michigan, with majors in accounting and economics. She is the mother of Matthew, a teenager aspiring to be a screenwriter/director, and Max, a 110 pound Golden Retriever.
FRINE MEDRANO assists in the administration of the office, and is knowledgeable in QuickBooks, payroll and tax return preparation. She is a part time student at Cal State Northridge, studying accounting. Frine’s family is from Central America and she is fluent in Spanish. She, too, is a proud mother of a kitty named Beauty.
DEBBIE DURNERIN is our newest associate. She has a background in Human Resources, which has enabled her to assist clients with problems in those areas. Debbie is a part time student, as well, and hopes to obtain her degree in accounting. Debbie has two kids and a husband to keep track of.
